2023 without a new Call of Duty, but with paid DLC for Modern Warfare II

Jason Schreiber confirmed the February information that Activision does not plan to release a new part of the Call of Duty shooter series in 2023.

The next Call of Duty was supposed to be a game from the Treyarch studio, but the company allegedly decided to postpone its release until 2024 to give the franchise a little respite after the failure of Vanguard.

According to Schreier, instead of a full-fledged Call of Duty in 2023, a new paid content for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II will be released, which will go on sale this month.

According to Tom Henderson, Activision is really going to extend support for the upcoming Modern Warfare II for a second year with the help of premium DLC, which will include remastered maps of past Call of Duty releases.

Henderson doesn't know all the details of the add-on yet, but according to the insider TheGhostOfHope, it will be a set of the most hit classic maps from all Call of Duty developers, including most of the multiplayer locations from the original Modern Warfare 2 2009.
