A Plague Tales 3? Asobo Studio starts planning a new narrative game and is looking for an experienced game designer

The Asobo Studio team, which created the action-adventure A Plague Tale: Requiem (our review), is already preparing to develop its next game.

They are looking for a senior game designer for a new project.

The vacancy was opened on November 7, after the release of Requiem, and informs that the applicant for this position will join the A Plague Tale: Requiem team, which is at the preparatory stage for future production.

The newcomer will have to participate in various phases of brainstorming from the very beginning of a certain "project", as well as be responsible for design elements at all stages of development up to the release.

At the moment, it is unknown whether we are talking about the continuation of A Plague Tale, but the vacancy says that the candidate should preferably be familiar with the first or second parts of the series, as well as have professional experience in developing narrative adventure games or at least have a strong interest in the genre.

Before the release of A Plague Tale: Requiem, game director Kevin Shoto gave an interview in which he stated that the second part is positioned by the studio as the end of the story, but left open the possibility for another game in case of success of the sequel.

Recently it became known that in a little over two weeks after the release, Requiem attracted more than 1 million players. Focus Entertainment recognized the launch of the game as a success.
