The remake of the horror Resident Evil 4 is announced for release on March 24 and, apparently, will no longer face the threat of postponement, since the game is almost completed.
The Japanese edition of Famitsu conducted a survey among developers of popular games about their plans for 2023.
In his response, Resident Evil 4 Remake producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi stated that the team is currently preparing to share new information about the project and that it is in the final stage of production.
Hirabayashi additionally revealed several personal goals he would like to achieve in 2023, including a desire to improve camping skills and buy a Steam Deck.
Meanwhile, in his plans for next year, Resident Evil Village producer Masachika Kawata shared that he would be engaged in "all kinds of preparations".
He also asked fans to look forward to what Capcom has prepared for them, including new releases of the Resident Evil series.
A completely redesigned version of Resident Evil 4 is being created for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
