Counter-Strike 2 may be released on mobile devices

After the official announcement of Counter-Strike 2, the game immediately became available to a select number of users for testing.

Of course, curious dataminers immediately began to study the game code for interesting details, and one of them has already been found.

One of the findings made, in particular, may indicate that in the future a new network shooter will appear on mobile devices.

A Twitter user under the nickname Aquarius found lines of code and console commands with the mention of "Mobile" in the game.

There was an assumption in the network that these could be remnants of code from other Valve games, but they are not in Dota 2 or Aperture Desk Job, but they are present in Dota Underlords and Artifact, which were developed with iOS and Android in mind.

In addition, Source 2 already natively supports iOS and Android, so the transfer of Counter-Strike 2 should not cause difficulties. The full release of the game on PC will take place this summer.
