Postponed to the end of April, zombie action Dead Island 2 will receive a separate presentation early next month.
Deep Silver and Dambuster Studios have announced that they will be streaming Dead Island 2 Showcase on December 6th, where players will get a new look at the project's gameplay and features.
The demo will include a segment with three survivors looking for a safe haven from a deadly virus that has spread across Los Angeles and turned it into a quarantine zone infested with hordes of zombies.
They have to explore the abandoned estate of a local video game and film producer in the Hollywood Hills, but walking around the mansion looks like it will bring some unpleasant surprises.
Dead Island 2 was re-announced in August after eight years since it was originally shown.
The project is now being made by Dambuster Studios, and the release will also take place on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 consoles.
