Infinity Ward has published a new blog entry Call of Duty: Warzone 2. 0, dedicating it to the upcoming release of "battle royale".
It seems that on November 16, users are waiting for the launch of the DMZ mode as a beta version.
The developers describe it as "a dangerous, diverse and deep open world in which players can choose the level of intensity."
It is expected that DMZ will be Activision's answer to Escape from Tarkov, which has a slow pace of the game and the mechanics of fighting for loot.
The first gameplay videos of the mode can be found online. In the DMZ, a team of three people lands on the map, explores it and, taking valuables, evacuates.
Interestingly, the players will fight for the loot not only among themselves, but also with AI.
Other details:it will be possible to participate in the fight for loot alone or together; the mode includes three factions: the first one called Legion is available initially, the White Lotus and the Black Mouse open over time; the extracted weapons can be used in multiplayer, players will start with a starting free set; users need to collect items for inventory, as well as perform additional tasks like rescuing hostages, destroying an important target, and so on; it's not necessary to fight at all, it's enough to launch into a match, collect loot and evacuate.
The "Battle Royale" will be developed over time.
