EA still does not want to invest in the development of the Battlefield 2042 shooter. This was reported by a well-known insider Tom Henderson.

After updating the official website of the project, it became known that no more than one new map will be added to the game during one season.

This has already caused a negative reaction from the fan community.

Earlier, Henderson noted that after the failure of BF 2042, the publisher's management decided to provide the lowest possible level of support.

We are talking about four seasons of content that were promised to buyers of the ultimate edition of the shooter.

Initially, EA had much more ambitious plans, including the addition of several maps in one season, as well as the release of new content for the Portal mode.

The third season in the game starts in the coming weeks. In particular, changes will be made to the system of specialists who will be divided into classes.
