Fallen Dynasty from the creators of Ni oh appeared in new screenshots

Koei Tecmo Publishing house has published a series of new screenshots of the hardcore role-playing action Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty from Team Ninja studio, known for the Nioh and Ninja Gaiden franchises.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a "dramatic and action-packed" story of an unnamed militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Late Han Dynasty, where demons torment the Three Kingdoms.

Players will have to fight with deadly creatures and enemy soldiers, using, among other things, a fencing system based on Chinese martial arts.

As has been repeatedly reported, the production of the project is headed by Bloodborne producer Masaaki Yamagiwa, who joined Team Ninja after the closure of SIE Japan Studio, as well as Nioh creator Fumihiko Yasuda.

Structurally, Wo Long will resemble the Nioh dilogy and will do without an open world, instead of which players will have a consistent set of large missions. It will take about 40 hours to complete.
