On the eve of The Game Awards 2022 ceremony, Square Enix confirmed that Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth, the second part of the FFVII remake, is still scheduled for release in winter 2023.
In a message posted from the official Twitter account, the publisher summed up the results of the 2022 releases and told about what will be released in 2023.
Most of the listed dates or windows were already known, and Rebirth in the above chart is currently listed as the closing release of next year.
The sequel to the first part of the remake of Final Fantasy VII, released in 2020, was announced in June exclusively for PlayStation 5.
Tomorrow Square Enix will also take part in The Game Awards, but the main focus, apparently, will be on the presentation of Final Fantasy XVI, coming out next summer.
The company is expected to show a new trailer with a release date and open pre-orders.
