Gematsu employees drew attention to the fact that the upcoming Japanese role-playing game Final Fantasy XVI was given an age rating in Brazil.
According to the documents, the project is not recommended for persons under the age of 16. According to rumors, pre-orders for the game will begin to be accepted on December 7 or 8.
Probably, this will be officially announced during The Game Awards 2022 ceremony, at which a fresh trailer can be presented.
Earlier, the developers said that the production of Final Fantasy XVI has almost ended, and at the moment the project is in a playable state — it can be completed several times.
It is expected to be a PS5 exclusive for six months. Presumably, the game will then be released on other platforms.
The release of Final Fantasy XVI is scheduled for the summer of 2023.
