Final Fantasy XVI will have a "New Game+" mode that allows players to save all the equipment, abilities and levels they have gained to face stronger enemies during the replay.

This was told by game director Hiroshi Takai in an interview with the Japanese website 4Gamer.

The developer confirmed that the upcoming role-playing game will include several difficulty level options.

For example, the story mode will allow users to focus on the campaign without worrying about heavy battles or sudden deaths. Heroes will automatically conduct combined attacks and special techniques.

However, in the settings there will be an alternative "basic" option, offering a worthy rebuff to hardcore players so that they can enjoy the battles.

According to Takai, the main difference between the modes is in accessories, one of which will allow automatic combos. In addition, there will be an item in the arsenal that helps to avoid attacks.

There will be several similar support accessories in the game, so players will be able to choose their favorite. Square Enix intends to release Final Fantasy XVI next year on PS5.

The publisher plans to announce the release date in the near future. Earlier it was reported that the game is 95% finished.
