Former Head of DICE and Battlefield Veterans' ARC Raiders Cooperative Shooter Postponed to 2023

Founded by former DICE executive Patrick SODERLUND, Embark announced that the conditionally free shooter ARC Raiders will not be released in 2022.

The team decided to postpone the release to 2023 to finalize the game. The developers needed additional time to realize the potential of an ambitious project.

Perhaps Embark decided to introduce additional mechanics or just grind the game properly.

The developers promise to share the details of ARC Raiders in the near future, as well as to conduct testing among the players.

Recall that the action of ARC Raiders takes place in a fantastic universe, where there was an apocalypse, and people had to fight with machines that captured the Earth.

Battles with aliens take place taking into account physics and the environment, allowing players to think creatively. The trailer of the project with The Game Awards 2021 can be seen below.

ARC Riders will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
