God of War: Ragnarok has officially become the fastest-selling game from internal studios in the history of the PlayStation, the company said.
The game sold 5.1 million copies in the first week, surpassing the record of the franchise and other Sony exclusives.
Prior to that, the palm for the fastest sales among PlayStation Studios releases was held by The Last of Us: Part II, which was bought in excess of 4 million units in the first three days.
Today, God of War: Ragnarok also received a new update that fixed a problem that occurred when trying to change the difficulty level.
There are no plans to release add-ons for the game, but Corey Barlog has already hinted that the series will continue in the future.
