Sonic Frontiers game director Morio Kishimoto told IGN that it would take about 20-30 hours to complete the main storyline of the platformer. However, if players decide to clean everything up 100% by performing most of the additional activities, it will take twice as long.
Sonic Frontiers will be the first game in the franchise to feature an open world that can be freely explored. In other platforms, you need to complete separate levels by selecting them on the map, and in Sonic Frontiers, this map will be the main location, where many interactive elements are located.
Sonic Frontiers will also be able to improve Sonic's skills with the help of a skill tree. For example, players will be able to increase the speed of the blue hedgehog, which will be needed to explore interesting places.
Sonic Frontiers will be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC this year. In Russia, the game will be translated with subtitles.
