Nioh does not plan to release on Xbox — but the owners of these consoles will soon be able to enjoy Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Team Ninja is not currently planning to release Nioh and Nioh 2 on Xbox consoles. Fumihiko Yasuda, the development manager of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, told VGC in an interview.

The developer did not go into details, noting only that the likelihood of Nioh appearing on the Xbox is "very low".

Apparently, this is due to the fact that the franchise was helped by the launch of Sony Interactive Entertainment, to which Koei Tecmo Games has certain obligations.

Yasuda hopes that Xbox users will like Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, which is actually the ideological successor to Nioh 2 (our first impressions).

"Currently, the probability of Nioh appearing on Xbox platforms is low, but we hope that the owners of consoles from Microsoft will like Wo Long.
