NVIDIA has unveiled a new trailer for The Lord of the Rings: Gollum stealth action adventure.
The video is dedicated to DLSS 3 and demonstrates a significant increase in performance in the game using proprietary AI scaling technology.
On her blog, NVIDIA also shared more detailed testing schedules, according to which when playing on RTX 4090 in 4K with maximum settings and all the included retracing options, using DLSS 3 increases the frame rate by 3.5 times, providing an average of 169 FPS.
At the same time, without the inclusion of DLSS 3, the performance of the game, according to the results of NVIDIA's own tests, will be significantly worse and with all the twisted settings will average only 48 FPS on the flagship RTX 4090.
If we talk about lower-level video cards, such as RTX 4080 and 4070, the results, respectively, will be even lower, but DLSS helps to increase the frame rate many times.
The Lord of the Rings: Gollum is out tomorrow. The full passage has already leaked to the network.
Judging by it, the duration of the game is about 10 hours.
