The Dark Souls III computer servers are back online after another recent shutdown.
On September 21, FromSoftware announced a "problem" when trying to log on to the role-playing servers via Steam, but did not provide any additional explanation about what happened or the expected timeframe for fixing it.
Three days later, the solution seems to have been found, as the online platform is now back online, according to PCGamesN.
Journalists conducted several short tests and were able to confirm that the online Dark Souls III on Steam is available again, although without comments from the developers, it is not clear whether the problem was solved or the servers were switched on only temporarily.
Recall that in the PC versions of Dark Souls: Remastered and Dark Souls II network functions are still not working.
FromSoftware shut down the Dark Souls trilogy servers on the PC in January after an exploit was discovered and only in August resumed online in the third part, while the issue with the rest of the games is still being solved.
