Rainforests and desert ruins in the fresh teaser trailer of Soumeru, the new Genshin Impact region

miHoYo has published a new teaser trailer of the popular free role-playing action Genshin Impact. In the video, the creators showed the upcoming new region of the game called Sumeru.

Along with a demonstration of the rainforest with its massive trees and slightly curved rocks, the video gives a better view of the city of Sumeru.

When designing the region, the development team took into account three basic components — the features of the area, the main theme and the use of fantasy elements.

Dendro Archont's land has a more distinct fantasy theme than Mondstadt, Li Yue, or Inadzuma. In addition to lush greenery, in the west of the new location there is a desert with mysterious ruins.

Images with Sumeru characters have been leaked to the network before. Genshin Impact is free to play on PS4, iOS, Android and PC.
