Respawn's Star Wars Jedi Could Be a three-part series

The game director of the Star Wars Jedi series from Respawn, Stig Asmussen, expects to make three games out of the story about the Jedi Cal Kestis. He stated this in an interview with IGN.

According to the developer, he always wanted it to be a trilogy, and he already has some ideas about what could be done outside of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Asmussen noted that even before the release of the original Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order in 2019, they had already discussed a sequel with Lucasfilm, however, as in the case of the second part, the fate of the triquel will most likely depend on how well the new game shows itself.

He also suggested that if Respawn does take over the production of the third part, they will probably have to switch from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5, although it will not be easy.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will be released on April 28 on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 and PC on Steam, EGS and Origin.
