According to the source of the MP1st portal, Sony is working on a remake or remaster of Horizon: Zero Dawn for PlayStation 5.

The updated game will supposedly offer an improved lighting system, redesigned textures, better animations and new character models to match the level of Horizon: Forbidden West.

In addition, it is noted that the reissue will feature accessibility options introduced in the sequel, as well as a choice of graphic modes and some small gameplay improvements.

The original Horizon: Zero Dawn received a 60 FPS patch for PlayStation 5 last year, but only as part of backward compatibility without using the additional advantages of the console and DualSense functions.

Some improvements were made to the PC version, such as increased drawing distance and support for ultra-wide screens, but, nevertheless, the port did without significant graphical changes.

MP1st also learned from other sources that one of the PlayStation studios, presumably Guerrilla Games, is currently developing a multiplayer Horizon game for PlayStation 5 and PC.

Officially, Guerrilla is currently busy with the VR offshoot of Horizon: Call of the Mountain and, according to rumors, is preparing a story expansion for Horizon: Forbidden West.
