One of Sony Interactive Entertainment's internal studios participated in the development of The Callisto Protocol horror.

This was announced on Twitter by the former head of SIE San Diego Studio Michael Mumbauer, who commented on the post that the authors of The Callisto Protocol recorded animations and actors for their project at the Visual Arts Service Group mockup studio.

According to Mumbauer, Vusual Arts not only provided its resources, but also directly participated in the development of the game, making, according to him, a great contribution to many elements of The Callisto Protocol, including cinematic videos.

Visual Arts Service Group is Sony's auxiliary production division specializing in animation, motion capture, cinematics and scanning.

Recently, it turned out from Sony vacancies that a new internal team is being formed based on Visual Arts in San Diego, which is already working on an unannounced major project on the popular franchise in collaboration with Naughty Dog.

It is assumed that we can talk about Uncharted 5. The Callisto Protocol is released on December 2.

Earlier it became known that PlayStation users will get early access to the future story DLC for the game.

One of the characters in the project was played by Sam Witwer, known for starring in Days Gone from Sony.
