Bandai Namco has published a document with questions and answers made at a recent briefing with investors on the occasion of the company's quarterly financial report.
Among other things, the publisher disclosed updated information about the sales of ELDEN RING in the publication, and also mentioned the approximate release window of Tekken 8.
"In addition to the games scheduled for release in fiscal 2022, we plan to release a number of large long-term games in fiscal 2023.
We are also developing Tekken 8 with the goal of releasing it in 2023 or later."
Tekken 8 was announced in September for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, but initially there was no information about the release date of the game.
Bandai Namco first mentioned plans to release a fighting game in 2023 only now, while the wording implies that the release may take place later.
