The young Dark Passenger game studio, founded by Jakub Ben, who previously worked for CD Projekt RED as a cinematic scene artist, has announced its debut project.
It is a question of still nameless game in a setting of feudal Japan created on the basis of Unreal Engine 5. It is specified that the project is created with emphasis on multiplayer modes and will offer both cooperative, and competitive gameplay.
Players will have to take on the role of ninjas from different clans and fight back unknown invaders, using an arsenal of unique weapons, as well as their dexterity and ingenuity.
The developers want each game session in the new project to be unique, so they use advanced procedural generation systems to achieve their ambitious goal.
The action of the game will unfold in a dark world full of interesting characters and conflicts.
The heroes will be able to run on the walls, quickly climb on the roofs of houses and even stop the arrows fired at them. The battles will be fought using traditional Japanese weapons.
The production of the game is still in its early stages. The main core of the developers consists of the creators of "Witch 3" and Cyberpunk 2077.
