Immediately after the presentation of the Resident Evil 4 remake, which took place tonight, Capcom opened pre-orders for the game in digital stores. Along with this, the prices became known.
On all platforms, the updated horror costs $59.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the expanded one with additional cosmetic items.
When pre-ordering the regular and deluxe versions, buyers will receive several more in-game bonuses. There are also system requirements for the PC.
In the minimum base, the game will require a processor comparable to the Ryzen 3 1200, a graphics accelerator no weaker than the GeForce GTX 1050 Ti, as well as 8 GB of RAM.
The developers expect that such a configuration will be enough for 1080p and 60 FPS in high-speed mode, but warn that there may be frame rate subsidence in complex scenes.
Without using the performance mode for 1080p and 60 FPS, Ryzen 5 3600 level hardware, GeForce GTX 1070 and 18 GB of RAM are recommended.
Separately, Capcom specified the requirements for the video card when playing with ray tracing - at least RTX 2060, and RTX 2070 is better. Resident Evil 4 will be released on March 24, 2023.
