The second major expansion for Forza Horizon 5 in development - DLC will be shown in early 2023

It's been almost four months since Forza Horizon 5 received the Hot Wheels expansion dedicated to the eponymous brand of toy cars and tracks, but now the next big DLC for the race is on the way.

During the last broadcast of Forza Monthly, Playground Games studio confirmed work on the second major addition for Forza Horizon 5.

No details on the addon were announced on the stream, but the developers clarified that they would show it in early 2023. The release should probably be expected around the same time.

"We are working hard on the second expansion for Forza Horizon 5. Expect to see it in early 2023. We will have something to share after the new year," Playground Games said.

Two weeks after the launch, the Hot Wheels expansion attracted more than 1 million users, which is about 20 times less than playing the original Forza Horizon 5.

At the same time, unlike the base game, the add-on is not included in the Xbox Game Pass subscription and requires a separate purchase.
