Last week, several of the last major releases of this year took place at once. The most successful of them in terms of physical sales in the UK was the horror The Callisto Protocol.

The game is located on the 6th place in the chart, starting much better than Saints Row and Gotham Knights, but 17% worse than Dying Light 2, which is still quite a good result for a completely new IP.

74% of sales were on the PlayStation 5.

But Need for Speed: Unbound, released simultaneously with The Callisto Protocol, took only 17th place, which is very bad by the standards of the fame of the franchise, which is the 10th most popular game series in the history of the UK.

Compared to Need for Speed: Heat, sales of the new part were 64% lower.

Perhaps this was influenced by the weak marketing campaign of the game with minimal media coverage in the release week, because according to reviews from the press and players, Need for Speed: Unbound was received quite warmly.

Marvel's Midnight Suns from 2K Games and Firaxis showed even more deplorable sales, debuting in 26th place, however, in this case, experts advise waiting for the data for the "figure" to draw conclusions, since the game, although released on consoles, is primarily focused on PCs, where it did not have boxed release.

FIFA 23 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 continue to dominate at the top of the top, God of War: Ragnarok rose two places to 3rd place, and Nintendo releases, as always, took half the places in the chart.
