Assassin's Creed Mirage is getting a Red Dead Redemption-style gameplay feature

Assassin's Creed: Mirage will pay tribute to the old parts of the franchise, but it will also include a number of new features for the series, one of which the developers clearly peeked at in Red Dead Redemption.

According to Gamerant, a feature called Assassin's Focus will appear in the "Mirage", which, according to the description alone, is already very much like the Dead Eye from the Red Dead trilogy from Rockstar Games.

Assassin's Focus will allow you to select targets and kill them in quick succession, slowing down the time before that.

The details of the mechanics, including the weapons used in it, are not yet revealed, but it seems that it will be as close as possible to the Dead Eye concept.

In Rockstar westerns, players could "pause" the gameplay for a short time, mark the vulnerabilities of opponents and quickly shoot them with a revolver or a carbine in automatic mode.

Earlier it was also found that when creating the Parkour system, Assassin's Creed Mirage developers are inspired by Assassin's Cred: Unity 2014.

The game will be released in the spring of 2023 on all current platforms except Switch.
