Embracer Group announced during the presentation of its financial report to investors that five games of the Lord of the Rings franchise will be released by March 31, 2024.
All titles are developed exclusively by third-party studios.
At the moment, only four games have been confirmed: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum, mobile The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth, cooperative The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria and an as yet unnamed game from Private Division and Weta Workshop.
Release date The Lord of the Rings: Gollum should be revealed at the March presentation of Nacon. In turn, The Lord of the Rings: Return to Moria will be released this spring.
Recall that in 2022, Embracer Group acquired Middle-earth Enterprises. The company owns the rights to films, TV series, games, board games and other "Lord of the Rings".
