The total volume of shipments and digital sales of Persona 5 Royal in versions for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Switch and PC, which were released on October 21, exceeded 1 million copies in a month, Atlus announced.
The company celebrated the event by publishing a laudatory trailer.
The original release of the role-playing game took place on October 31, 2019 only on PlayStation 4 in Japan and on March 31, 2020 worldwide.
Taking into account sales on PlayStation 4, the total circulation of Persona 5 Royal as of November 30 of this year reached the mark of 3.3 million copies, that is, about 2.3 million copies were sold on PS4 alone for all time.
In general, sales of all games in the Persona series have already exceeded 16.8 million copies by now.
