Square Enix has announced an update for The DioField Chronicle a new story, weapons and difficulty level will be added to the game

Square Enix is preparing a large-scale update of The DioField Chronicle. In March 2023, a new scenario, weapons, skills, mode and difficulty level will be added to the game.

All content will be free. Players are waiting for a plot that is not part of the main story, in which they will take control of Waltakin Redditch.

The scenario can be started after completing Chapter 5 and use the Grimoire as a weapon to summon units and change their shape.

The skill "Necromancy" will allow you to use a Skull Knight, and "Necrotam" is used to turn units into a Skull Dragon to reveal strengths.

The "Extra" mode will provide opportunities for a "New Game+", thanks to which players will be able to transfer levels, weapons and skill trees from the previous passage.

From the first chapter, the heroes will have to fight with opponents of a higher level. Also, the game will have a difficulty level of "Very difficult".
