The new Metro is already in a playable state the announcement may take place in 2023

Insider Tom Henderson, referring to his sources, said that the new part of Metro is in a playable state and it can already be completed from beginning to end.

Henderson suggests that 4A Games may announce a new part of the franchise this year, and its release will tentatively take place in 2024.

There are few plot details, but the insider learned that the story begins with a certain dream, after which the hero wakes up at the base.

The gameplay will follow the classic Metro formula: stealth, crafting, resource gathering and more.

Recall that Metro: Exodus was released in 2019, and two years later it reached a new generation of consoles.
