Fans of Silent Hill 2 absolutely should not worry about the visual component of the remake of the cult horror.
The audience was assured of this by the lead producer of the game, Maciej Glomb, reminding that the Bloober Team always tries to pay great attention to graphics and the technical part in general.
We are also talking about special effects that complement the overall atmosphere. The latter is especially important for Silent Hill.
In addition, the visual component of the remake will be highlighted by recognizable artistic solutions of the legendary Silent Hill art director and monster designer Masahiro Ito.
"It's safe to say that visual effects have always been a strength of the Bloober Team," said the developer.
"We did a lot of work with Ito-san at the beginning of production to make sure we had a common vision of the artistic style of the game."
"Our 2D and 3D designers are the best in their field, so you can count on first-class visual execution. We conducted preliminary testing and received positive feedback.
Obviously, we still have a long way to go, but I am very optimistic." A remake of Silent Hill 2 is being developed for PlayStation 5 and PC.
