TMNT Shredder's Revenge brought millions of euros to its creator

The retro bitmap Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge from Dotemu proved successful not only among players, but also in terms of profit.

According to the latest financial report of Focus Entertainment, which is the owner of Dotemu, in the second quarter of this year TMNT: Shredder's Revenge brought the publisher an income of 22.9 million euros.

The project was released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch and PC on June 16 and one week later sold over 1 million copies, but it is not reported how many "Turtles" have earned at the moment.

Despite the success of TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, the overall report was not so positive regarding the financial situation of Focus Entertainment.

The publisher reported a 38% drop in revenue compared to the same period last year, but as representatives of Focus Entertainment note, this is not too much of a surprise, since the company had no major releases in the second quarter.

Earlier this week, Focus Entertainment released an action-adventure game A Plague Tale: Requiem, which immediately became available to Xbox Game Pass subscribers on the day of release.
