The developers believe that in previous editions of the franchise, insufficient attention was paid to this point, so with a new game, the situation will try to correct.

John Eppler, creative director of Dragon Age: Dreadwolf, spoke about plans to introduce more heroes of different origins into the series.

"It is fair to note that Dragon Age has previously made some mistakes regarding the representation of characters of different ethnic and racial origins.

In this new game, we pay a lot of attention to this point. You are fully in your right to criticize us or take an interest in our plans, "wrote the developer.

Recall that the plot of the new Dragon Age will focus on Fen 'Harel or the Horrible Wolf (literal translation "Dreadwolf") — an elven deity of deception, trickery and deceit, the first close acquaintance of players with which began in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Dragon Age: Dreadwolf is created for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC.

The game is expected to premiere in 2023.
