Dr. Strange's abilities, style of play, and tactics were shown in Marvel's Midnight Suns’ new trailer

XCOM creators from Firaxis showed a fresh trailer of Marvel's Midnight Suns step-by-step tactical role-playing game featuring Dr. Strange.

After the introductory video, the authors elaborated on the abilities, game style and tactics of the magical superhero Marvel.

As a Support Hero, Strange can protect and heal heroes and recover combat items. Best of all, he harmonizes with heroes who don't use too much Heroism.

At the minimum value of Heroism, he is able to use a mechanic called Enhanced, which provides various additional bonuses. The video also showed some maps of the hero.

For example, the use of Astral Meditation allows you to restore combat items (disposable items that can be selected before missions), and the Vapors of Valtorr card is able to hide Strange or any ally for one turn, making them unavailable for selection.

Levelling the latter will also restore the health of the character and reduce the cost of Heroic Cards.

The Shield of the Seraphim allows you to apply a resistance effect to the entire group, and also cures everyone of negative effects.

Marvel's Midnight Suns is released on October 7 on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, PS5 and PC. The Nintendo Switch version is expected later.
