Fallen Dynasty didn't "simplify" under the Xbox Game Pass — it's a new full-fledged role-playing action from the creators of Nioh

Some Microsoft partners are experimenting with game formats planned for release in the Xbox Game Pass at the start.

For example, they make them more accessible to a wider audience or choose a service distribution model. Japanese Team Ninja is not one of these developers.

According to the studio, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be a traditional role-playing fighter for Nioh fans and other similar projects — just on Xbox platforms he will immediately appear in the Xbox Game Pass.

"We are very happy that such a wide audience of players will be able to immediately try out the new Team Ninja game - this is the first time for us.

But the fact that Wo Long was added to Game Pass did not affect the development. We didn't change anything.

Team Ninja believes that adding the game to the Xbox Game Pass will fill the servers of Wo Long in the shortest possible time, which should benefit multiplayer fans and have a positive impact on the development of the network community as a whole.

The developers also confirmed that structurally Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will be similar to the Nioh logic.
