Gamescom 2022 announces spectacular role-playing action movie Where Winds Meet

At the Gamescom 2022 opening ceremony, NetEase brought the role-playing game Where Winds Meet from the Chinese studio Everstone Games.

Visually, it resembles Ghost of Tsushima, and its actions unfold in a fantastic version of China at the end of the era of five dynasties and ten kingdoms.

According to the description from the developers, players are waiting for an epic journey in the open world, full of spectacular battles and clashes with fantastic creatures.

The trailer shows various elements of gameplay, including horseback riding, fishing and the hero's unique abilities.

The open world is designed to span many locations, including windy steppes, bamboo forests, and bustling cities.

The main character is a mysterious swordsman, whose fate depends on the decisions made by the player.

As he progresses, he will be able to occupy different sides of the conflict and try himself in new roles, such as a doctor, a merchant, and even a stranger without certain goals.

A "fascinating story" has been promised. Swordfighting, Wuxia-style martial arts, the use of magic and Taijiquan are intertwined in the combat system.

Now the game is only announced for PC. Beta testing is planned for the end of 2022.
