On the premiere day, the second episode of the series based on The Last of Us attracted 22% more viewers in the United States than the first — this is the largest positive change in performance between the first and second episodes of dramatic TV shows in the history of HBO.

Often, the second series of new TV projects attract fewer people to the screens than the first ones, since the viewers are not captured by what they saw in the pilot.

In the case of The Last of Us, the audience has not decreased, but has grown record-breaking. At the same time, sales of Naughty Dog games are growing all over the world.

Users are willing to buy a remake of The Last of Us for PlayStation 5 and a remaster for PlayStation 4. Earlier, a trailer for the third episode of The Last of Us appeared on the network.

The series will be dedicated to Joel's old friend named Bill, who does not trust strangers.

His role was played by Nick Offerman, known to viewers by Ron Swanson from the series "Parks and Recreation". The next episode will be released in the HBO Max online cinema on the night of January 30.
