IO Interactive about working on a James Bond game

IO Interactive is confident that it will be able to make a strong adaptation of "James Bond" based on its experience working on Hitman.

This was stated in an interview with Eurogamer by studio heads Christian Elverdam and Hakan Abrak.

To date, little is still known about Project 007, but the developers were able to share a little information, telling about the process of working with the game on such a cult character.

"Firstly, working with the Eon Productions team, which is behind everything related to Bond, is extremely exciting and literally inspiring.

But on the other hand, it's strange, because I'm used to defending Agent 47; people want something to happen to our franchise, too, and you think about how to deal with it."

According to the developers, for them everything revolved around coming to an understanding of what James Bond is.

The authors note that thanks to the Hitman franchise, they can confidently consider themselves strong in the topic related to spies, and in everything they learned during the time they were engaged in the games of the Agent 47 series, and now they have to rediscover new facets of this when working with James Bond.

The project does not have a release date at the moment.
