This week Apple updated iOS, macOS, iOS and iPadOS, adding support for classic Nintendo controllers. We are talking about accessories released for the Nintendo Switch.
They allow users of the hybrid system to play the hits of the past years using replicas of famous devices.
One of the first innovations was discovered by developer Steve Troughton Smith, who posted a video on Twitter with the connection of the SNES controller to Apple TV.
MacStories employees confirmed the information received by testing their own Bluetooth versions of Nintendo 64 controllers with Apple devices.
Previously, Mac, iPhone and other products of the Cupertino company acquired support for DualShock 4, DualSense, Joy-Con, Nintendo Switch Pro Controller, as well as Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S controllers.
