Microsoft released an update for the Xbox Series X|S, which also introduced a noise cancellation feature that improves voice chat performance.

In an official statement, the company noted that the option should eliminate unwanted sounds, such as controller button clicks, breathing, and background noise.

The function can be enabled or disabled at any time, just go to the settings and activate the corresponding switch.

According to journalists who have already tried the function, noise reduction in the Xbox Series X|S voice chat is largely identical to Krisp audio filters in Discord, Zoom solutions and the Broadcast application from NVIDIA, which allows PC owners to cut off background noise.
