Microsoft will release Starfield after Redfall both games have no release dates yet

According to Microsoft, the large-scale Starfield role-playing game from Bethesda Softworks will be released shortly after Redfall.

Both games do not yet have an exact release date — their release is scheduled for 2023.

In the Friends Per Second podcast, the head of Microsoft Studios, Matt Bootie, noted that players should expect a lot of innovations from Starfield.

Game director Todd Howard is not just doing "Skyrim in Space", but is striving for something more.

"Over the last year and a half or so, I've had the opportunity to spend more time with Todd Howard and see how he works, see what he brings to game design.

I'm sure he's not going to sit back and be content with what was created earlier. Take and release a reskin (replacing the appearance using old models) something is not the Howard method, right? So there will be a lot of advanced stuff in this game."

Stating that Starfield will be released after Redfall, Bootie did not specify when to expect the release of the latter.

There are rumors that the game will be released closer to the end of March 2023, so Starfield can be expected in May or June.

Bethesda Softworks originally planned to present its creation on November 11, 2022, and then moved the game to the first half of 2023.
