Naughty Dog is looking for an artist for a new game with a realistic world, characters and animals

Naughty Dog Studio may be working on another game in a realistic setting, according to recently opened vacancies.

In particular, the studio is looking for a character artist capable of creating new in-game cassettes, both from scratch and based on existing ones.

The candidate will have to specialize in clothes, people and animals needed to create a world in a realistic setting.

Also, the specialist will have to deal with the texturing of clothing using subsurface dispersion and an emphasis on the wearability of materials, including discoloration, defects, dirt, and so on.

The applicant requires more than five years of proven experience working on AAA games, a thorough knowledge of human anatomy and how the folds of clothing are formed, as well as the ability to create natural skin textures with veins, flaws, and the like.

The vacancy does not contain information about a specific title for which a specialist was needed, but suggests that with the new game Naughty Dog is going to raise the bar of visual quality for its projects again.

At the moment, the studio is busy with several projects at once, but only one is officially known so far.
