New DualSense firmware update reportedly causes stick drift issues for some players.
Several users on Reddit said (1,2) that their controllers began to behave strangely after installing the update 0307 through the Sony app for PC, showing signs of stick drift during the game.
One such user claims that his gamepad worked properly all the time and never had any problems until he upgraded it to version 0307, after which there was a drift on the left analog joystick.
He tried to reset the controller, remove the connection, and reconnect, but to no avail.
Another victim claims to be behind the game when he decided to upgrade his DualSense, but after the update was installed, the controller started drifting in the upper left direction and sometimes in the downward direction.
He admitted that there is a small chance that this could have happened due to the wear of the sticks, but he believes it is more likely that the problem was caused by the firmware update.
At the same time, some people say in their comments that they have also updated their DualSense to version 0307, but they have no problems.
In any case, it is probably better to stay on the previous version of the firmware for now.
