The first mobile game from Japanese studio Tango Gameworks creator Resident Evil Shinji Mikami will close just five months after the release. Hero Dice started on March 31 — its servers will be shut down on August 31.

Today, developers have limited the possibility of making in-game purchases. Recall that Hero Dice is a turn-based game that combines hero battles and board elements.

Players roll a virtual dice to determine their hero's attack, and also use cards to apply various effects during battles. For Tango Gameworks, it was an "experiment with a new genre from young employees" originally approved by Bethesda management.

The studio is currently working on a secret exclusive project for the Xbox Series X|S under the direction of game director John Johanas The Evil Within 2.
