Last week Annapurna Interactive held its own game presentation, where, among other things, an improved version of the atmospheric adventure What Remains of Edith Finch for the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 was announced.

Nextgen patch with 4K / 60 FPS support is available for free to all owners of the game on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, but in case you received it under the PlayStation Plus subscription in one of the past distributions, you will not be able to download the corresponding update.

This was also verified and confirmed in Eurogamer. It is worth noting that this is not the first such case with games from the Sony service.

Last March, users of PS Plus were able to download Final Fantasy VII Remake, after which Sqaure Enix released a free update to the PS5 version, but there was one clutter.

It was only available if you actually purchased the project for your money, and not just took it by subscription. The decision was reviewed a few months later.
