Sega is disappointed with the launch sales of the new JRPG Soul Hackers 2 from Atlus

The Soul Hackers 2 role—playing game, which debuted at the end of the summer, has failed to meet the commercial forecasts of Sega publishing by now - JRPG sales do not meet expectations.

Nevertheless, the company believes that the novelty from Atlas will still be able to attract the attention of the audience.

Now Sega hopes that the wave of interest in Soul Hackers 2 will be ignited by the release of various updates — one of these will be released this month and will bring additional content to the game.

In addition, Sega is convinced that Soul Hackers 2 will be able to have a moderate tail of sales — it will be sold for a long period of time.

Recall that in the media, Soul Hackers 2 was rated 75 points out of 100. The game seemed to many Western observers to be "budget-friendly" in comparison with other recent works by Atlus.

Soul Hackers 2 is now available for purchase on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
