Sony Interactive Entertainment has released a new system update number 22. 02
- 06.00. 01 for PlayStation 5.
The update is already available for download and, according to the patch notes, is aimed at improving the stability of the console's operating system.
"This system software update improves system performance," the report says. The last major changes in the PS5 system to date have occurred with the firmware version 22.
02 - 06. 00.00, released in early September. The previous update added support for 1440p resolution, as well as the ability to create lists of games in the library.
