On August 4, after numerous leaks, Square Enix fully introduced Tactics Ogre: Reborn. The tactical role-playing game will appear on November 11, 2022 on PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch and PC.
The version for modern consoles will be based on the remake of 2010 for PSP.
The original Tactics Ogre: Let Us Cling Together was released in 1995 on SNES and performed the sequel Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen (1993).
In addition to the Tactics Ogre remake for PSP, versions for the Wii Virtual Console (2009), the Wii U Virtual Console (2014), and the New Nintendo 3DS Virtual Console (2016) were released.
The game is also available on Sega Saturn and PlayStation. Unlike Tactics Ogre Let Us Cling Together, the reissue will receive full dubbing designed to breathe life into familiar scenes.
In addition, players are waiting for recycled sound effects, improved music and a variety of changes in the gameplay, including rebalance and modern AI opponents.
Tactics Ogre: Reborn will be available in digital format and on physical media. The announcement trailer can be seen below.
