Square Enix to release remaster Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song in early December

In May, Square Enix announced the Japanese role-playing game Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, iOS and Android.

The project is an updated version of the Romancing SaGa remake for modern platforms.

The original was released on January 28, 1992 on the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, and in 2005 as a re-release reached PlayStation 2.

Unfortunately, both releases took place exclusively in Japan, so Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered will be the first appearance in the West.

The action unfolds in the fictional world of Mardias.

Players will have to choose one of the eight available heroes and embark on a journey to prevent the release of the sealed thousand years ago god Saruin.

Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered will go on sale on December 1, 2022. Developers will update the graphics, rework the management and improve the gameplay.

They also promise to add some new content.
